I love reading romances, but turns out it's really hard to write about two people falling in love. Especially when I myself have never been in a relationship so I'm basing this whole thing on media. As a result I'm worried it's going to turn out really cliché. But oh well, that's what a first draft is for right?  On the topic of first drafts, there are days when I really want this series to just be written, so I have something to work with. Honestly, I have no idea where I'm going some of the time. As you may have guessed, proper planning isn't really something I'm good at. Luckily my main character is prone to getting lost in her thoughts, which is my excuse for going off on tangents and then stopping them abruptly. It's just my 'style', right? So, I finished writing the next chapter by Friday, which was great. It's uploaded on to Quotev now. I went with awkward conversation as the starter for romance. Hi all! I'm not sure if there is a #Wednesdayareforwriting thing that already exists, if so then great. If not, well, there is now. Because this is going to be my new moto. Write every Wednesday and maybe I will actually get to the end of my story sometime before the end of the millennium. I've decided to use this as a bit of a reflection space under the assumption that other people reading will motivate me. But honestly, I have no experience with a blog, so apologies in advance for the level of chaos I guarantee is going to ensue! So let's see how this goes. I have a story that I have chosen to focus on, called Darling Mine. This is the story of a young woman living in a gothic dystopia and her journey. I started this story two years ago on Quotev, and so I have decided to keep it there. If you are interested, then head over! So, writing goals.
